I spend a delightful day this week sewing with lovely friends, one of whom is having a big “0” birthday this weekend, so I took along my present. We have such good taste, Miss H and I – Miss H had made herself a smaller bag from the same fabric!! How funny is that? (I forgot to get a pic of the bowl I bought her too)
And they both go so well with her block keeper!
The girls had been sewing some little purses too, a freebie kit from a Cath Kidston book.
and if you’re a free spirit and interpret the pattern in your own way, you get this version!
We had such fun; chatting, laughing, stitching, indulging, with a little bit of bag envy and cushion envy thrown in,
and me receiving a cute basket, fab Liberty scissor fob and two gorgeous Liberty bracelets!!

Love your projects! Have you had good luck with the frixion pens? I’ve been too timid to try them.
Meredithe the birdie fabric is so cute. Can you give me any clues of the name of the fabric or where I might be able to buy it from? Thank you
Oh Meredithe, I love that bird fabric. Do you know the name of it or where I might be able to get some? Lovely work in your post. It’s all so pretty. H
love that multi purpose bag! Would you please let me know about sourcing the pattern when you have some time?
The purce is very nice !! And the gifts too….
You must’ve been with the Auntlets!!! That’s too funny about the bag — they’re adorable. I really want to make some of those bracelets — must get to it!!!
You’ve obviously both got very good taste!! And those bracelets are a lovely idea.
