Amanda’s Gran’s Apple and Cinnamon Cake
7 cooked apples
1 heaped cup SR flour
100g margarine
½ cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 egg
Icing sugar for decoration
Rub margarine and flour together. Add egg, sugar and cinnamon and blend well. Roll out, cut in half and line greased dish with one half. Add cooked apples. While hot put the other half of the pastry on top.
Cook for 40 minutes at 180⁰C. Remove from tin when hot and dust with icing sugar.
