Class Show and Tell

It’s been a month since I last saw my students! They’ve done some fine work while I’ve been absent. Care to have a look?

Lorraine has finished one block of her new appliqué…

20130502-141621.jpg…and she bought this Sashiko table runner at the Show last week, yes, last week, and has already done this much!!…

20130502-141727.jpgHelen has decided she’s finished her Mrs Billings….

20130502-141808.jpg…and a beautiful job she’s done too. A couple of the other students are thinking that a fabric border could be the right thing to do…..!

20130502-141936.jpg(I shall dissuade them…if I had to, they can too!!)

Helen has embarked on something that I will never do….tiny, tiny hexagons…..millions of them!!….

20130502-142116.jpgVery sweet, but not for me!

Lyn is cutting out her next block….

20130502-142225.jpgPeggy is cutting out for a new quilt…

20130502-142311.jpgAlly mitred the corners of her border….

20130502-142356.jpgJill finished the binding on a gift quilt for a little girl (who nearly ended up with the name LCUY – luckily Jill’s son noticed the transposition of the C and U and set mum straight!)…

20130502-142539.jpgAnd I nearly forgot Lorraine’s template pieced table runner she started today, using one of my template sets…

Love that “Lucy” quilt! My daughter’s name is Lucy and her nursery is/was (she’s 2, and a “big girl”) pink and green! Some great work by your students,
