Class show and tell

Last week we had class at Nuno Nuno and it was wonderful to see some students I haven’t seen for nearly 2 years!

Marilyn has been making little quilts for her daughters’ friends who are having babies, this one for a new little girl

with minki on the back

next request was one for a new baby boy so together we chose these (what looks brown is actually grey)

and during the week Marilyn sent me a pic of the finished quilt (again, the brown is actually grey!)

Marilyn is also making a version of Drunkards Path using Japanese/inspired fabrics

changing up the curved pieces between Japanese and neutrals

Jo is making another “Hedgerow” quilt (which I think you can find in Judy’s first book) with most of the pieced borders done

and we chose these for the corners of the first plain border

Sue is making a Double Wedding Ring and with most of the arcs made, she was adding the corner squares

Frances is doing well with her hand quilting of “Blooms

and she spent class time putting on the last of the triangles for her “June Dyson Coverlet” (don’t you love the tin!)

and Elizabeth was new to class and she had a lesson in hexagons

  1. It’s lovely to know you are all getting back together again. Here’s hoping that continues now!

Thank you for taking the time to comment - reading them makes my day!
