Class show and tell

Just a small class at Nuno Nuno last week, but lots of progress!

Trudy had been left these beautiful roses by a customerSue M and I worked out which fabrics to use for the surrounding diamonds on her “Circle of Sisters” quilt and she started piecing themand with lots of measuring, cutting, and sewing  and a decision on borders, more measuring, cutting and sewing, Ali’s quilt top is finally finished…..after 23 years!!  We gave her a round of applause and she now needs to get it quilted,  bound and labelled……ahem, perhaps just one step at a time!

The morning went so quickly, but great to see this progress.

This class is held at Nuno Nuno, Mont Albert.  If you’d like to join me, it’s the third Wednesday of the month; bring along a project you’re stuck on, either by age, technique, lost pattern, lost your way, want to start something new and not sure what, or you’d just like to stitch with like minded people, contact Trudy by clicking on the highlighted shop name above and join us.  Would love to see you there.

23 years! Good for her! I’ve got some old quilts in progress that need to make more progress, so this is good motivation!

Thank you for taking the time to comment - reading them makes my day!
