Cast and Crew
The Golfer:: My loving husband of some 20 years (yes, I was a child bride!), who likes nothing better than flogging a little white ball around the green fairways (and hopefully not getting into the rough) of his local golf course.
Ma & Pa Kettles:: My parents who live in the country, fondly known as The Kettles. Sadly my gorgeous Dad died in 2015, so it’s just Mum now.
MyDearFIL & MIL:: The Golfer’s Dad & Mum who have now both passed away.
LittleBigBrother:: My brother who is younger than me, but at 6 foot, definitely bigger than me!!
DocSisterInLaw:: LittleBigBrother’s wife (who has a Doctorate!)
Poppet:: My beautiful niece, and daughter of LittleBigBrother and DocSisterInLaw
(blis) n. 1. perfect happiness; serene joy
Obviously the collective noun for a group of stitchers!!

Just wrestled it onto the clothes horse to dry in the Spring sunshine ☀️ #mrsbillingscoverlet #washingmywinterquilt

We’ve just enjoyed three lovely weeks of Ma Kettle visiting us. It’s been delightful having her company; we don’t seem to have done much, but we seem to have been busy. Weird how that happens. I took Ma home on … Continue reading
It’s Hoooooot! And yes, that is said in a whiney, wingey voice (you know I hate the heat). It’s been hot all week, but today it’s going to be 41 here, and 43 for Ma Kettle (I don’t know why … Continue reading
……..and here’s what I’ve achieved so far! But I’m afraid there won’t be too much more done in the immediate future; we’re at the beginning of a 30 degree spell. 30 degrees at the beginning of October???? What happened to … Continue reading
My goodness it’s noisy here at p and c this morning! We were woken first thing by a flock of corellas who had come to feast on our back door neighbours’ tree then the workers arrived at the block next … Continue reading
