Cast and Crew
The Golfer:: My loving husband of some 20 years (yes, I was a child bride!), who likes nothing better than flogging a little white ball around the green fairways (and hopefully not getting into the rough) of his local golf course.
Ma & Pa Kettles:: My parents who live in the country, fondly known as The Kettles. Sadly my gorgeous Dad died in 2015, so it’s just Mum now.
MyDearFIL & MIL:: The Golfer’s Dad & Mum who have now both passed away.
LittleBigBrother:: My brother who is younger than me, but at 6 foot, definitely bigger than me!!
DocSisterInLaw:: LittleBigBrother’s wife (who has a Doctorate!)
Poppet:: My beautiful niece, and daughter of LittleBigBrother and DocSisterInLaw

~ I’ve picked the first of the roses, but they didn’t last long in the house as The Golfer has succumbed to hay fever and they were driving him crazy. Apparently it’s been a bad Spring for hay fever. Pretty … Continue reading
~ These blooms graced the family room a couple of weeks agoI loved the play of afternoon light on the pink petals, and watching the tulips open up. They were on special at the green grocers and mixed nicely together. … Continue reading
I’ve been battling a laryngitis lurgy of late (hence the prolonged radio silence) and when I’m not croaking through a class I’ve been home resting. But the other day The Golfer decided it was time for a treat and suggested … Continue reading
We had our annual trip to Sewjourn in July – our 11th year! We started out as usual visiting patchwork shops along the way but ended very unusually as Miss Helen tripped over towards the end of the day running … Continue reading
