Last week at Sewn and Quilted…….
Morning
Jo is progressing well with her “Hedgerow” and we looked at the next border

and the corner blocks

Sue M is going to make this cushion with one of her granddaughters, so I ran her through the making of one square so she knows what she’s doing!

and we had a quick lesson on how to use Fork Pins (I luv ’em!)

then she worked on more triangles

Carole is working her way through her applique, and pleased with the Polyfuse method

and Denise has nearly finished another of her Mrs Peach blocks

Afternoon
Cathie had some lockdown show and tell

and from Carol’s “Sale Tent” she chose a backing/binding (more than enough but a great fabric to have on hand)

then she appliqued more of her Japanese circles

I chose some hexie sets for Tineke

and she got on with the stitching

Fernanda started a new project (Judy Newman’s “French Market Medallion” – I think in her first book)

nearly getting it all prepped and stitched in class

and I chose the next round of fabrics for her

Frances cut and prepped the binding for her Diamond TAW

and that last block for her cushion as just disappeared, so she cut and prepped a new one

and Cheryl worked on her embroidery, stitching another sheep, finishing her bird, sewing the waves, trees and flowers.

This class is held at Sewn and Quilted.
So much good progress there!
That little sliver of the Diamond quilt looks amazing! Lots of good stuff as always.:)
I LOVE the last photo’s embroidery! Is the pattern available anywhere? Cynthia White
