You may remember I was a little worried about the 8 applique blocks I was doing for Cecile and Corrine‘s 2022 QAL. It took me a while and lots of thinking, and last week I was a tad concerned as I still had 3 blocks to work. But after a couple of days of appliqueing they’re done!
they’re all different sizes, and I know the Elizabeth head vase looks a bit strange just on its own, but all will be revealed – hopefully – in the coming months. Cecile did tell me that there’s still plenty of time, but as the idea for putting these and the pieced blocks together is still VERY vague, I figure I’m going to need all that time I can get!
Hoping to get a weekend soon where I can “play” with the layout.

Oh these blocks are sensational! I especially love the rabbit! So sweet. The colors are just what we need up here in Maine right now. So spring like! Looking forward to seeing this one all together. Enjoy the day.
