I’ve been a busy girl with the QAL2022. I’ve forged ahead and stitched all 8 of my pieced blocks (well, I’m guessing 8 but I think there’s probably going to be more before this one’s finished), as I knew what I wanted to do; the applique is a different matter and may take more time, hence the hurry to get these done. Here they are:
Cheddar Stars (which you’ve seen – VT4029MC)
Ferris Wheel (VT4023MC)
Parson’s Geese (VT4031MC)
Aunt Sophie (VT4037MC)
and Ice-Cream Sundae (4014MC)
As you may be able to see from the photos they are all different sizes (why? because I can!) and I’ve included the code numbers in case you’d like to make one or two of them yourself (as for them at your LQS). It was lovely to revisit some of these older templates and I’m quite eager to make quilts from several of them – the Creative Brain is ticking over!
So now it’s time for the applique blocks. As I said last time, I knew I wanted to include the pears and they’re done, so that’s one down and 7 to go. My brain has slowly been ticking over and I have a couple of ideas……..watch this space as they say!
