Walking in sunshine

Well!! I was going to wax lyrical about how gorgeous today is and how it’s wonderful to see clear blue skies and sunshine………and it’s clouded over!

Never mind, I took some photos on my walk this morning so I can still show you how beautiful the morning was (WAS being the operative word!).

After days of dreary rain and cloud, when we truly thought Winter was back and Spring would never come, today – well this morning – was a gift from Spring.

I decided on a park walk and so pleased I did.

There were very few people about, then there were lots in one spot!

Just look at that sky! Such a vivid blue after our grey days. Everything is lush green after the rain, and there’s still some wattle out

A symphony of trunks and shadows. I truly enjoyed my brisk walk and even now am feeling invigorated and refreshed.

On the way home I stopped a couple of times as brilliant colours caught my eye, flashing more colourfully in the sunlight, like this

Loved the light shining through the orange of these Birds of Paradise

The bees were going crazy buzzing noisily around this blossom making the most of these pretty flowers and their abundant pollen

A stunning rhododendron just up the road from us

and next to it this tree

It’s quite mild outside so I’ve chanced a load of washing – fingers crossed!

Hope you’re having a wonderful, colourful day!

Much love
