Happy mail

There’s been a bit more happy mail arriving at p and c……

From The Patchwork Pear

and after seeing a piece on Gardening Australia about Utopia Goods Textiles and Bruce Slorach’s beautiful botanical drawings, I just had to get some samples

which I think would look stunning embroidered…….. cogs are turning again!

Are you helping to keep the fabric economy turning over??

I haven’t visited The Patchwork Pear yet, although I have bought from them as they are a South Australian shop, maybe a road trip for later in the year. I do have plenty in my stash but sometimes I see some fabric that begs to be bought. I have been helping our local shops and have also purchased a few things online as well.

I haven’t bought any fabric (yet), but I have stocked up on thread and machine needles. I also hope to get my machines serviced, so I can get stuck into the UFO pile!!

I really shouldn’t have, but I did finally give in and buy just a tiny bit of fabric the other day. It’s been soooo long!:)

  5. Mostly lovely filament silk, in my case, but to each their own and all that!

Thank you for taking the time to comment - reading them makes my day!
