Class show and tell


Sue E worked on her “Bessie Creek Road” BOM blocks

Carylin cut and bagged all morning

Sue W cut for a new paper pieced baby quilt

Carole cut and machine stitched the final borders for her quilt

Denise too started something new, hand cutting and piecing

and Jo cut lots of her pieced strips ready for a layout next time


Three students stayed all day; Lyn spent the day trimming and hand stitching another binding

Sue S had show and tell – an elephant blanket for a grand child

and the centre of her “Emma Mary” quilt top

and in class she worked on the surrounding blocks and some umbrellas too

Linda had a lovely pin cushion/thread holder

and in class she worked on “Strafford Manor” blocks

and these “Fleur” blocks

the other Lyn her first two blocks

Cheryl more hexie prep

Fernanda appliqued

and Tineke all but finished her bag (just the end of the zip to trim and tag)

Phew! Busy day!
