At Sewn and Quilted……

Morning

Sue E stitched another of her blocks

I helped Carole choose the blocks for the last row each side of her quilt

Leanne has started a new project which involves applique and embroidery

Jo cut and stitched strips for a baby quilt for a new addition to their family who is due very soon

and Lyn stayed all day and worked on her binding

Afternoon

Fernanda had finished the scalloping and had added triangles to the centre blocks of her new quilt

so in class we decided on an applique motive for the triangles, chose fabrics and Fernanda prepped the pieces ready to stitch

Frances finished off her block

and started a new one – quite the brain teaser this one!

Tineke added a strip to her blocks, then she basted them and had a lesson in Big Stitch quilting

Cathie has just one more of these blocks to finish button holing

The other Lyn finished cutting up all her pieces for her “Posies Puzzle” BOM and laid out her first block

I helped Cheryl choose more fabrics for her hexagon blocks and she cut up heaps of hexies as well as prepping her BOM pieces

and Jane sewed the centre of her new quilt – just look at that perfect middle and piecing! What a good student she is!
