Class show and tell

For the students at the second week class as the quilt shop…..

Lois had finished her “Miss Jess” quilt top

and in class she was making stars for her “Star a Day” quilt

and she found a few more pinks to aid the cause

Anne-Maree prepped and basted her quilt

and I gave her a Big Stitch quilting lesson

Ann-Marie had called into her niece to pick up the birthday quilt to show us the finished version (her niece is absolutely delighted with it! Just the reaction a quilter wants.)

and she’s also finished the Christmas quilt

and in class she started a baby quilt (from a panel available at the quilt shop) for a friend

Deirdre also basted a quilt, a baby one

and we chose borders and a backing for the lap quilt she’s making for a friend

Peggy has finished appliqueing the flowers onto her quilt top so I trimmed it to size for her

and I trimmed this quilt for her too so both are now ready for borders

Paula finished off what she hoped would be the last for these half-square triangles and a careful count later…..Yes! all 126 present and correct.

Sue traced and cut the corner pieces for her blocks

and Pearl nearly finished the last seam of the second half of her blocks

Love the postage stamp quilt, such a lot of work. It makes me think that I could use a background colour that isn’t cream!

Thank you for taking the time to comment - reading them makes my day!
