Final Class show and tell for 2019!

My last classes for 2019………

Morning

We brought along a shared morning tea……Sue W made more blocks in classthen counted all she’s made and has almost 2/3rds of what’s needed!Denise progressed her “June DysonMarilyn has 5 rows of “Sweet Sunday” togetherwe started putting Colette’s bag togetherand Carole finished another set of blocks and we roughly pinned it on for her to take home and machine into place

Afternoon

The food pile grew!!  Delicious afternoon tea! Three students stayed all day…….

Linda showed us the “Friday Shirt” she madeand she worked on her “Bessie Creek Road” BOM blocksSue S brought along her finished “Harriet’s Treasures” (by Rachael Porter)and in class she worked on her “Emma Mary“; we centred and placed the hexie blocks ready to be hand stitchedand Sue also fussy cut her starsand Lyn finished off her quilt and chose and made up a backing for itwith the other students……

Fernanda had finished the binding on her “Potpourri”a tricky job well doneand in class Fernanda was cutting out diamondsCheryl made more hexie framesthe other Lyn finished her table runnerCathie has nearly finished her blanket stitchingTineke machined the next bordersJane chose some sumptuous fabrics for a new quilt for 2020and Helen finished off her quilt topWe’ll be back with more class show and tell posts in 2020!
