My last classes for 2019………
Morning
We brought along a shared morning tea……Sue W made more blocks in class
then counted all she’s made and has almost 2/3rds of what’s needed!
Denise progressed her “June Dyson“
Marilyn has 5 rows of “Sweet Sunday” together
we started putting Colette’s bag together
and Carole finished another set of blocks and we roughly pinned it on for her to take home and machine into place
Afternoon
The food pile grew!! Delicious afternoon tea!
Three students stayed all day…….
Linda showed us the “Friday Shirt” she madeand she worked on her “Bessie Creek Road” BOM blocks
Sue S brought along her finished “Harriet’s Treasures” (by Rachael Porter)
and in class she worked on her “Emma Mary“; we centred and placed the hexie blocks ready to be hand stitched
and Sue also fussy cut her stars
and Lyn finished off her quilt and chose and made up a backing for it
with the other students……
Fernanda had finished the binding on her “Potpourri”a tricky job well done
and in class Fernanda was cutting out diamonds
Cheryl made more hexie frames
the other Lyn finished her table runner
Cathie has nearly finished her blanket stitching
Tineke machined the next borders
Jane chose some sumptuous fabrics for a new quilt for 2020
and Helen finished off her quilt top

Your ladies all do such wonderful work, I am looking forward to seeing more next year (and the food looked delicious!!)
