Class show and tell


It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Sewn and Quilted!Sue E has cut out another month of her “Bessie Creek Road” BOMand we had quite a few finishes including Sue’s “Welsh Quilt” (pattern by everyday quilts) back from quiltingwith its fabulous spotty backingand Carole’s “Rowdy Flat Library Quilt” was also back from quilting.Β  A tremendous 18 month effortand Carole worked on more blocks in class


Linda and Lyn stayed all day, Linda showing us her finished baby quiltand in class she worked on her broderie perse……which I seem to have failed to get a pic of – apologies.

Lyn got her first scrap quilt back from quilting and finished her second scrap quilt in classwith the other students, Fernanda had finished her Liberty Circle crochetand in class we worked on her binding for “Pot Pourri”Cathie did more blanket stitchingFrances more appliqueTineke stitched on some diamondsCheryl made little mountains of hexiesthe other Lyn showed off her pin cushionsand in class finished off her binding then we decided it needed more quiltingand Helen added more bordersMeredithe x

    Those Bessie Road blocks are sweet. I’ve been eyeing making something similar.:) Lovely to see some quilt finishes here at the end of a year!
