Class show and tell

From the second monthly class at the quilt shop…….

Anne-Maree had her applique blocks stitched to her quilt topand she’d prepared some squares for the next border, so stitched them together, added them then cut out her final borderswe did a layout with Carole’s blocks and she started to piece the next section togetherSue M had a new project which she started machine piecing togetherAnn-Marie had finished the outline quilting on one of her Christmas blocks, so we discussed how to proceed with the quilting.  Plan made, she then marked out her quilting lines for the whole quiltPeggy appliqued her jug into place using a running stitch and perle 8 threadPearl was piecing flannel blocks togetherJenny had a hand quilting lesson and started quilting her table runnerLois has finished piecing all the backgrounds together so is adding them to her blocksand Deirdre and I came up with a plan for a simple knee quilt using fat 1/16ths Meredithe x
