Class show and tell

Morning

We had lots of last minute cancellations – emergency dentist, family and student illnesses – so I do hope you’re all ok.

Sue E has started stitching on the final border for her “Welsh Quilt” (pattern by everyday quilts)and Carylin added the binding to her quilt and it’s almost ready for its new home in Germany

Afternoon

Two students stayed all day:  Lyn made more blocks in the morning and during the lunch break we laid them out.and in the afternoon she started stitching the blocks together into rowsand Linda diligently worked on “Bessie Creek Road” all dayWith the other afternoon students, Tineke had her quarter-square triangle border onand she prepped for some applique work aheadFrances was having trouble with a block so we made one together….….and it worked out just fine!

Jane stitched more of her blocks togetherCheryl added centres to her hexie surroundsand the other Lyn finished putting her table runner together, we basted it and she’s prepped some lines for machine quiltingMeredithe x

This class is held at Sewn and Quilted, Blackburn

  1. Well, I suppose it means more space for those who were there to spread themselves out and get properly engaged!
