Class show and tell

From some of the classes at Sewn and Quilted of late…….

Cheryl has started adding the background sections to her “Sugar Plum” blocks and these gorgeous “Sweet Sunday” blocks belong to someone (again I blame the jet-lag!!)I think these ones might be Jane’s or Helen’s ?  (sorry!)Fernanda has all her “Potpourri” blocks cut out and is valiantly stitching awayCathie and I chose some fabrics for a baby quiltand she’s working hard on her applique, having finished oneand well on the way with the other

In the next week…….

Linda kindly brought in raspberry friands and cream as a welcome back – and they were so delicious!Leanne has been busy putting the finishing touches to her Quiltmania BOMCarole added the last of her borders to her “Rowdy Flat Library Quilt” and it’s ready to be quilted!Tineke brought in her completed “Wedge Tale” quilt, and it looks so good especially with the feature we added into the borders and this is the backing and I gave Tineke a lesson in broderie perseLinda has started “Strafford ManorSue has nearly completed all her “Sugar Plum” blocksCheryl is making progress with hers tooand she found this in an op-shop which we all had a jolly good look at!Helen made another “Sweet Sunday” block and cut out some leaves for her other applique projectFernanda is busy with Liberty and crochetCathie did more appliqueand Jane started to quilt her hexagon cushionMeredithe x

    The Sugar Plum is a nice pattern. Another one started The Sweet Sunday. I love that pattern so much. Once I will make that one. 🤗
