Class show and tell

Morning

Marilyn brought in these beautifully crocheted doilies which we all drooled over!and she stitched up more blocks for “Sweet SundaySue W sewed up a storm on the machine and soon had enough blocks for us to see how it’s going to look….so excitingLeanne made a mountain of bias stripsCarole stitched more of her hexie basket blockDenise stitched more of her “June Dyson Coverletand Sue E started to applique down the next section of “Bessie Creek Road” the 2019 BOM from Treehouse Textiles

Afternoon

Two students stayed all day……Linda brought in this gorgeous quilt made for one of her grand children, just the quilting to do now (sorry, I can’t remember the pattern name)and in class she made a block bookand had enough time to do some applique as welland Lyn cut out for her next project and bought some extra fabrics for it tooand for the other afternoon students, Fernanda brought in a finished cushion (made in Liberty fabrics)and this gorgeous tinand together we chose fabrics for a new quilt she’s making (“Bric-a Brac” by everyday quilts)and she made some more of her “Pot Pourri” blocks (pattern by Rae Telfer)the other Lyn stitched up more of her rowsTineke started sewing her rows together tooCheryl worked on her “Sugar Plum” blocksand Cathie made inroads with the centre of her “Vintage Sampler” quiltMeredithe x
