Class show and tell

Ooh, SO much to tell you…….but first classes from, well, over a week ago!

This first post from the quilt shop……

Deirdre had finished setting in all her trianglesso she trimmed the edges and it’s ready to be quilted.  Deirdre then showed me some blocks she’s inherited and we chose a sashing and corner squares to liven it up a bitJenny has these off-cuts from a mill in Scotland(!) so we’re trying a bit of improvand she brought in a finished quilt that I helped her choose the fabrics for several years ago.  The pattern is “Briar Hill” by Sue AmbroseSue M is onto the last of her bordersPeggy completed the first of her flowersAndrea was diligently cutting, cutting, cutting background pieces for her “Star A Day” then upended the fat 1/8th tub to choose some little pieces for the stars for a change of scenery!Anne-Maree worked on more of her appliqueAnn Marie is up to the borders of her Christmas quiltLois patiently appliqued her centre piece to a backgroundCarole worked on her hexagon basketPearl nearly finished another hand pieced blockand Paula hand stitched her next borderMeredithe x
