Saturday was our first Squealers gathering for the year with more than enough food to nourish our bodiesand plenty of chat and laughter to nourish our souls!

Andrea brought along the christening gown made by her mother and used by her two boys, now both grownups with the last leaving home just the day before It even has its own biband space around the hem to add the names of future generations of their family (the boys names are already embroidered on the other side)Miss E has finished a quilt for her daughter’s friend, first the backthen the front (hard to get a full pic – sorry)Helen has been busy on the machine making lots of Kaffe blocksand she’s decided on a new version of her applique and is appliqueing with renewed vigour!Karen appliqued more leavesAndrea is putting her rows togetherMaree was crocheting her “Sweet Pea” blanket from Lucy at Attic24Miss E started hersand I tackled another block for my Flowers QALMeredithe x
