Class show and tell

As last week was the first week of the month there are 2 lots of show and tell so I’d better get them to you before this week’s!

Firstly the last class for the year from the quilt shop.

Sue brought in two quilts; the one on the right is the one she started with (pre this class), and the one on the left I helped her make from the left overs from the first oneand in class, from the left overs of the left overs, Sue started two cushionsCarole started placing her pots and prepping the first lot of flowersRosalie was prepping a pot and flowers too, on a slighter larger scaleDenise started cutting triangles for the last of her bordersFernanda started a new project (“Potpourri” by Rae Telfer), so we sorted through the fabrics selecting sets which she prepped ready to stitchAnne-Maree and I chose birds and flowers which she prepped and then a selection of leavesJennifer started appliqueing her Dresden Plates onto her backgroundSue M set up lots of flowers in her potsand Val sewed borders on and had a lesson in mitred cornersMeredithe x
