Class show and tell


Carole had finished one small block and during class stitched lots on another, and I helped out with pen work on the insectsMorning class was only small, so Jo and I worked together as a team and soon she had all these stars made, and emptied a reel of thread to boot!  (yes, they’re yet to be pressed)and Sue E prepped more squares ready to be stitched


Lyn stayed all day and showed us a beautiful embroidered cloth, started by her mother and finished by Lyn and one which Lyn uses toothe stitching is amazing; all done by handand Lyn prepped and attached her binding, and started hand stitching it downHelen cut and pinned the final borders (my maths from the previous week was correct!) and we hatched a plan for the hexagons…..and she worked on some more “Sweet Sunday” blocksSue M has started on a second “Woodlands” quilt top for her other grand daughterJane stitched the base for her next block and started to lay out the felt flowersFernanda is going well with her hand quiltingand she added the top and the extra applique pieces to her bagFrances finished sewing her blocks together with the sashingsand Cheryl worked on her “Pele Mele” blocks

    Good progress of your students. The stitching of the embroidered cloth is really amazing. It looks like machine work, even better! Fernanda her hand quilting is very good. Well done Fernanda!🤗
