Class show and tell


Sue E has the next round of borders on her “Hedgerowand we cut and Sue prepped her next plain border ready to sew onCarole had made all her little bits, so we started to transfer them to the blockand she stitched some stemsafter a bit of a false start with another project (some pieces left at home!!) Jo worked on more of her hand pieced quiltMarilyn is down to the last few blocks of her quiltLeanne was working on the last of her blocks and we cut her setting triangles as wellAnne Maree had fun with her embroideryand together we basted Sue W’s baby quilt and she had a lesson on big stitch hand quilting


Carylin stayed all day and she had a lesson in hand quilting too, choosing to work with a more traditional size stitchHelen had all her pieces appliqued down so we chose an interim border fabric, trimmed the applique piece down, and Helen cut and prepped the border pieces and got two sides stitched onSue M made more trees for her “Woodlands”Cheryl had an applique lessonTineke had done a Winter Workshop with Glenda (GJ) making a project bag and continued on with her embellishment and Jane started hand stitching down her bindingMeredithe x
