6and6 in May

Here are three facts

:: it’s May

:: under 6and6 rules we can start a new project

:: May is the 5th month

therefore (and these are not so factual facts)

:: we can start 5 new projects in May

:: Yippee!!

I do have that logic right, huh?  Or perhaps I should check it with Anne.  Anyway I can’t decide which new project as there are thousands of ideas in my brain, but these five have been hammering the loudest.

There’s this star one which was technically started at the end of April, but who’s countingsomething will be happening with this pileI’m very taken with a quilt in the latest “Quilter’s Companion” magazine (as I’ve said before my camera has an aversion to reds and the plain is actually closer to the dark pinks in the floral) this Reece Scannell panel has been clamouring for attention for quite some time and has slowly crept to the top of the pile (fabric is darker than appears here)and finally, my Yarn Bug is firmly entrenched (at the moment!) and I’ve fallen for this crocheted rug (only a portion shown)(photo courtesy of GJ who has finished one and is about to start another!)

If all goes to plan I could be having a very busy May……..

What have you decided to do for 6and6 in May?  I’d love to hear.

    You go, girl. As for me one is plenty as I have to work on the one for April I didn’t even touch (an old WIP) and the one for this month(another old wip)for another challenge, plus a commissioned quilt. I’ve already started three new major ones this year already, so I’m going to work on one of those this month.

    5 New projects for May!!!!!!! I’m starting this month with only 1 new project, a little babyquilt with an owl, and try to work on my 3 new projects with which I started in January and March.🤗

  3. Since I started the “100 Hearts” piece in an “old project” month, I am keeping my head down on this one!

    May sounds like it’s going to 5X’s the fun!

  5. Chris in Canada says:

    I started the heart a Day for the Month of May. That should keep me out of trouble.

  6. Kaja says:

    My head would explode if I started 5 new projects at once! You have some very good-looking stacks of fabric to start you off.

  7. Wow, you definitely have a lot of goals for May. Setting the bar pretty high for the rest of us, though! lol I’m planning to decide on my May goals tomorrow. Better late than never I guess.

    Lots of lovely piles there! I look forward to seeing you create some wonderful things. May for me – revisit my craft plans for 2018 – I was very enthusiastic for the first two months, since then it’s all gone a bit slowly. I also intend to make something new to wear from fabric ‘accidently’ purchased in April!

Thank you for taking the time to comment - reading them makes my day!
