Class show and tell


Marilyn has the main part of her “Welsh Quilt” (pattern by Sandra Boyle, Everyday Quilts) together and has started putting the borders onDenise is having waaaay too much fun with her EPP and she just might have bought some “extras”Sue E started a new project “Hedgerow” by Judy Newman, choosing this gorgeous floral as the centre instead of the pieced blockand cutting out the little four patches for the first borderJo finished her cutting out and started piecingCarylin is working on the border of the Quiltmania Mystery Quilt from a couple of years agoand she had a little shopping spree too in preparation for a new quiltCarole is working on Block 2 of her Rowdy Flat Library Quilt and we chose some bee wing fabric


Fernanda stayed all day and stitched up a couple more of her blocks to add to the growing pile but also traced and cut out a whole heap and we chose another set of combinations for yet more (she was a bit crossed eyed by the end of class!)Helen had made this cute pincushionand we put the binding on her quiltCheryl worked on her “Frances Quilt” centreand Frances worked on a new quiltTineke had finished all the outline quilting on her flowers and started on the background/bordersand Jane made inroads on her next set of blocksMeredithe x

  2. As ever, it is a beautiful show and tell. Your students are most productive and varied. You must inspire great enthusiasm.
