Class show and tell

(I think some of my students were on speed this last week, they achieved so much between classes!!)

Linda has been sock knitting, just in time for our cooler weatherand she has all but two of her umbrella blocks to stitchFernanda made three of her blocks during the weekand another in classand she’s finished all the “flowers” for Ruby May, so we cut out the linen background and she’s setting up for the embroidered centreswe laid out Cheryl’s pentagon flowers onto her clothand made some decisions about the centreJane finished all her embroidered circles during the week and stitched on most of the leaves, doing more in classCarole appliqued her little fingers off, getting all but one set of flowers stitched on and we had a play with her butterfliesAnne-Maree prepped more blocks and started stitching them in classTineke had spent the week hand quilting, getting quite a bit done and did more in classand Denise had cut out twelve, yes that’s 12! of her blocks and started to prep and sew one in classPhew!
