Class show and tell

From last week…….

Morning

Sue W had made all her blocks during the weekand after laying them out she stitched them togetherand we chose a border and that went on and it’s now gone to be quilted!

Denise chose some new fabricsand stitched more diamondsCarole and I chose a background fabric for her new quilt, Susan Smith’s “Rowdy Flat Library Quilt“, and she started on the centre blockLeanne did lots of cuttingSue E and I are sorting her border issueJo worked on more setting triangle blocksand Anne-Maree joined us and started an applique quilt

Afternoon

Lyn stayed all day and continued working on her current table mat and prepping for a third one!Tineke has finished her woolly bits top, Wendy Williams’ “Wallflowerand nearly had the first of her blocks stitched upHelen chose borders for her “Friendship Star” quilt, prepped them and started sewing them onCheryl started a new quilt with some animal prints and jelly rollsFrances worked on her border scallopsJane stitched all the bits for her next blockFernanda did lots of appliqueand Cathie was back and we chose a backing for her sashiko table runner, which she prepped and then started with some big stitch quilting.Meredithe x

    Hi Meredithe. You always have a lot of quiltdames at the Bee. Especially I like the little quilt with pictures of Beatrix Potter. In the Netherlands there are a number of ladies that also make the Rowdy Flat Library.🤗
