Woolly bits Sunday

It was our first time back for Woolly Bits at Millrose for this year (as I was leaving home the moon was still outand a spider had been very busy overnight weaving this web between the carport and the Silver Birch)Weeeeell, not really our group’s turn; technically we have to wait until the end of this month but a couple of us couldn’t last the distance, so we gatecrashed the class at the beginning of the month and the ladies were so gracious in allowing Lynne and I in for the day.  And what a Day!

Kerry has entertained herself over the Summer with a Craftsy Class on Sue Spargo’s “Butterflies” (to find the class click on the Craftsy logo in the side bar and explore!)Lynne has a great storage binfilled with threads which are carefully guarded by Miss MouseDuring the morning the sunlight caught the woolly bits samples Lizzie had on the design wallOf course we had to stop for lunch and there’s a new menu at the cafe – so many choices!!Sam showed us what she’s been working on over Summerand she’s exploring “Bird Dance”Diana does amazing things with felted wool (she had photos of bowls and containers) and was playing with this creationSvet learnt all about woolly bits and achieved all thisAfternoon tea arrivedand not long after I finished another of my birdsLynne did a little shopping for a friend’s new baby and we worked out a quick quilt for her to makeand as Sue is having a sale of all the demo machines in the shop……..I may…….I just might……have bought myself a new sewing machine!!  (and with everything that’s been happening of late, it’s still in its box!!  More on that…….when I get to it!)
