Carole had finished 7 of her blocks so we laid them outand she started stitching them togetherJo had the borders cut for her hexagon quilt, so we laid them out ready for her to appliqueSue E cut strips for quick cutting of her background pieces for “The Welsh Quilt” (pattern by Sandra Boyle, Everyday Quilts)Denise started on a Sue Daley BOM “Round We Goand Sue W finished another block on her “Bird Walk” BOM


Cheryl had finished her heart colourwashand decided to start on another one, this time a garden sceneJane worked more embroidery magic on the circles for her BOMFrances chose fabrics for the setting triangles of her quiltHelen had some more of her “Sweet Sunday” blocks doneand we basted her quilt ready for hand quiltingThe next three students stayed all day, achieving lots!

Fernanda had a query about the cord for finishing a bag, so we got that sortedand she finished the next block of her “Matilda” BOMLinda stitched more of her “Sweet Sunday” togetherand Lyn painstakingly set out the black bias and attached the cream bias to her pieceMeredithe x

    Lovely work by all of your ladies. I think you have your mojo back after battling those winter ailments M with all your posts coming through again. We did miss them. I have just completed #15 ufo & #16 is so close to being ready for the quilter. Thank you so much for inspiring us all. Between my two groups we have now completed over 100 ufos. I will report in at the end of the year with the exact numbers. We are anxiously awaiting your plan for us next year – but please not 18ufosin2018!!!!! My head is spinning with planning & dreaming ideas for 2018.
