Squishy Parcels

While I’ve been busy in the sewing room this week, the doorbell has pealed a few times.  Grumpy from being distracted from my work, my frowns quickly turned to big smiles when I opened the front door to a postie with parcels for me!

The first was totally unexpected and when unwrapped revealed this instantly recognisable logo and fabric, but what could it be? It turned out to be a gorgeous apronThis gift is from a lovely friend who has recently had a trip to Europe and thoughtfully knew I’d love this.  It looks too nice to use, though!

The second interruption was one I knew was coming, but arrived slightly quicker than anticipated.  They’re my new templates which are being released at AQM (the Australian Quilt Market for wholesalers/retailers) and will be available in your lqs in December.  Just a teaser this! And this last parcel arrived quickedy-split after a few clicks on Sarah’s shop site.I’ve been promising myself a browse through Sarah’s on-line store for some time, and took the plunge one evening and scored some more sock yarn.  Lots of loveliness to choose from but restrained myself to this little haul! So there’s been lots of happy dancing in the sewing room as these delicious parcels have been unwrapped and oohed and aahed over!
