17unfosin2017 | August

Winter is nearly over and those cold nights in front of the fire have been good for me as it’s been another productive month here at p and c!

:: You may have seen that I finished Ma Kettle’s jumper and it’s a perfect fit!::  Another tick off my list is “Steampunk” – yep, it’s finished too!  Carol quilted it for me and I’m so happy with it!!I chose one of the new widebacks that Carol has in store, and used the fabrics from the cornerstones to make a scrappy bindingjust loving it!It doesn’t quite cover the bed from head to foot, and while the nights are still cold Mrs B will stay on the bed, so “Steampunk” is safely stored away to wait for its turn.::  I’ve also put the borders on my 365 Circle quiltyep, a different colour on each side – you’ll have to wait to see.  Now to make up lots of circles for complete the 365.

::  Setting triangles are cut for “Brompton Road” so it shouldn’t (fingers crossed) take long to put it together.

How did you go this month?  Hope you’ve made Substantial Progress too!

  3. Actually, I don’t think I have, this month. “Eve” has been recalcitrant, not to say downright stroppy!

  4. What a beautiful sweater and I love your Steampunk. I am doing a variation of those blocks via the applique method ! 🙂

Wasn’t all that productive in August. Spent most of the month out of state and then recovering. Love that sweater and Steam Punk. Wow!

A very productive month for you, Meredith! Congrats!i have done pretty well too, with a couple of tops completed…finally….which have been lurking in the drawer in the ‘nearly finished state’! Pretty happy to have them out in the light of day, and quilted, with just the binding to go. Whew! Loving this challenge and ‘cleaning up’! 😀
