Woolly bits class

Well!!  We had a very weather adventurous day on Sunday!  The forecast was for cold and rain; we had blue skies and sunshine, dark skies and rainbows (5 in all over the day), rain, hail, sleet and……snow!!   Yes, it snowed in Ballannot sure if you can actually see it snowing here, but it did lay for a little time on the groundThis was during the morning, then it was snowing when we went next door to the cafe for lunch. Brrrrr!

Delicious hot food soon warmed us up thoughJan K had brought along her beautiful printer’s tray that she’s filled with her embroideries, buttons and trinkets to show us (pics taken in three sections). It’s one of those treasures that every time you look you see something different.  It will have a perspex covering and hang on Jan’s wall.

Meanwhile, Jan K worked on the border of her “Flower BedDeb has nearly finished the embroidery on her “Folk TailsJacinta made her applique into a cushionLynne put the binding on her “CuppaLizzie was hand quiltingand I finished another birdCatherine and Jo visited; Catherine was binding her DWRand Jo was working on her 365 Circlesand while I gazed upon Jan K handiwork a little moreI munched on afternoon tea!One piece anyway!

You ladies do beautiful work! That printer’s tray is beautiful — I have an old one in a closet somewhere, I should drag it out and fill it full of pretties. Thanks for the inspiration!
