I just love what all your ladies undertake and do. So far this year i have joined 2 smaller green big lap quilts into a larger one for my grandson who loves green. Made 8shopping bags of varying complexities. Will make more. Only made 10 pillowcases as yet. Completed a cot quilt which went a delighted young father. Finished off about 10 x 2′ sq childrens security blankies. Given to womens refuges in s/w of WA. Along with 2 handsful of mini heart( in hou pocket). Apparently they were a big hit so i have 50 cut out to make up & send off. For staff also. Finishing off scarves meanwhile. And managed to get fringes onto 7 of the22 the past few days. To give away also. I am starting to see wonderful little spaces. Thankyou and your girls for remaining my inspiration. Yet to border my Green Tea quilt and sew the 365 circles although they are pinned labelled and ready to go. Gotta finish a KS Quilt for my eldest grandson of Tuna pinks star pattern from last year in aubade song of the dawn. He loves the deep blues and i told him it will be a colour to last him till he reaches 100. Then we both laughed. Hoo Roo. Lynnii B Shortland of WA
What a wonderful class show-and-tell! I have enjoyed looking at all the beautiful projects the ladies are making, and especially these mitered corners are spectacular.
Beautiful work everyone. Just love those Carousel blocks!
Another happy productive class, just what quilting should be.
Loving those ‘carousel’ blocks! Are they all hand stitched?
So many dizzying patterns and colours!
