Tuesday sewing

As Tuesday was a public holiday (ANZAC Day) a few of us got together for an afternoon of sewing.

Helen supplied the venue and afternoon teaHelen has started prepping her new quiltand decided on two different stem fabricsand has all her Kaffe’s in one basket, so she’s ready to go!Helen has also finished her embroidery/pieced quilt

and it’s in the “to be quilted” pile.

Karen stitched this blockand blanket stitched this one Maree laid out her “Emma Mary” blocks thus farI started cutting out triangles from “Outback Wife” for a new projectand I had some more spoils from my visit to Ma

Can you see me in these crocheted garments?  They’re actually not that far out of fashion, these days.  What was old is new again!  (I always wanted a tabard as a teenager)

    Love seeing everyone’s projects!

  2. Ponchos look lovely and dramatic, but they’re extremely irritating to wear, I’m afraid. I’ve unpicked my last cape and intend to turn it into a skirt!

Haha — look at those old patterns! I have a few of those left — I constantly struggle with whether I should get rid of them — my sewing room is spilling out into other rooms and something(s) must go!!!

Nice projects once again the girls are working on………
Just wait long enough and everything comes around again…..

Thank you for taking the time to comment - reading them makes my day!
