Class show and tell

Morning

Sue W has her Kaffe inspired quilt top finished – it’s Big!and with that given over to be quilted Sue started on a new venture, a BOM called “Bird Walk“, and after lots of cutting and a little piecing…….and by class end Sue had two units made and prep work done for moreBeth has 6 “Carousel” blocks now

Carole brought in some lemon and pecan biscuits for us – I got in just in time to take a pic before they disappeared!and Carole cut the first of her joining shapes and sewed three blocks to itSue E and I auditioned centresand Denise almost has one block complete

Afternoon

Theresa has another “Farmer’s Wife” block madeand I pushed her to tackle one of the basket blocksFrances had rows ready and we cut side triangles to square the sides of the top upand Nova joined us for the first time to learn big stitch hand quilting and what an apt pupil she turned out to be!Meredithe x

    Love the gingham Carole is using for her carousel blocks! And Frances’ scrappy triangles is looking great! Lots of variety & colour in class today!
