January Sewjourn – part 3

Happy Australia Day to all my Australian readers!  And what better way to celebrate than to show you some of our amazing countryside.

The first couple of days of our stay were on the cooler side.  This was the start of our second day32-dscn5485It’s Summer, it’s dry and it’s harvest time.  So just for you Anne a close up of the tractor at work33-dscn5486Our last day was predicted to be a hot one and it was, although you might not have guessed it with the view in the morning40-dscn5495The garden at Sewjourn is showing it’s Summer foliage and flowers1-blog-jan-173The cacti plants are just amazing and will be in flower very soon I’m sure – someone else will get to see them.  But just look at this brilliant blue Summer sky49-dscn5505I’m sure you’re wondering where the food pics are.  We ate very well and by that I mean healthily on the whole, with just a few specials1-blog-jan-172A fab weekend!  Thanks for inviting me, Maree!

    I saw those stunning cacti flowers again this weekend…..somehow I manage to catch them every year even though they only flower for one day. Beautiful.
