In the garden

We’ve had a couple of days of sunshine, in between the cloud and rain, which has done wonders for the garden. There are lots of flowers starting on the hydrangea bushes; the broallia is in full bloom; as is the fuchsia; I’ve counted 9 spikes of foxgloves; can’t remember what this one’s called but it’s doing well since Ma Kettle pruned it for me; lots of happy pansy faces!

There are more rogue tomatoes coming up, so I’ve transplanted them and keeping my fingers crossed that they’ll fruit.  We’ve been using heaps of the herbs in our cooking……so tasty.and the sweet peas are flowering, along with the roses, so I’ve picked some of each to enjoy inside. How’s your garden looking?

Oh, sweet peas, my all time favorite. What a pretty little bouquet you have. Our gardens are put to bed for Winter, bulbs are planted with a promise of a beautiful Spring, many many bulbs, can’t wait.

You have a bounty of pretty flowers. Love your little vase of sweetpeas and roses. I seem specialise in overgrown weeds, they’re flourishing.

  4. And of course, sweet peas flower even more if you cut them!

  5. my garden is in winter… so sad…no snow for Christmas….
