In Ma Kettle’s garden

Spent the first part  of this week up with Ma; she’s doing very well, thank you.

The plants in the pergola are livening up with the advent of Spring.

A friend and fellow orchid lover repotted Dad’s orchids some months ago and Dad would have been so pleased to see that they have started flowering.

Ma can see these from her kitchen window and they are giving her great delight.

Your mum seems to be doing very well and I absolutely love the orchid photos. You’re so very fortunate to have your mum close by to visit and play with.

Ma’s orchids are beautiful – and seeing them has brought back such happy memories of meeting Ma and Pa!

We are secretly glad our growing (weeding, trimming, watering, mowing etc.) season is on its last days. Looking forward to cooler days, wood fires and stitching with the snow falling outside. Sounds romantic now……but will probably last a week until we are praying for spring! 🙂 Gorgeous blooms.

Ia love seeing plants starting to grow down there, while flowers and trees get ready for a winter’s rest here.
