Class show and tell

Morning

Beth spent the morning cutting,

cutting,

cutting

and piecing

her “Elwood Rose” and “Drunkards Path” blocks, and Beth bought some new fabrics to play with too.

Carole also bought some new fabrics
and set up the start of another heart block

We played around with Jo’s centre and hexagons

and Marilyn stitched more circles and we came up with “a plan”!

Afternoon

Lyn stayed all day, bringing her project in a bag made by her sister

and over the day worked on her smaller blocks, prepping them for machine quilting

Cathie has her quilt top finished and we worked on a pieced backing for it in class

Tineke prepped all this lovely goodness

and Jane and Frances packed up and ran away before I had time to take photos, so apologies.  I’ll get them next week!

Gorgeous as usual. Your color combinations are all so fun. Especially love the bag and circles on script….always a new look. Been doing lots of circles of characters..disney…and things like boats, cats, tacos etc. My circles will become an eye spy for grandchildren.

I think I say the same every week – lots of wonderful projects ……. but that’s because it is true. You have a very talented bunch of ladies!!

You and “your girls” do the best things.

Lots happening, my pick this week are Beth’s Kaffe pastels which are looking very pretty!

  5. That is a lot of cutting! And good progress on all fronts, too!

Wonderful photos, must say I have to go with Beth also. Perhaps I’m a little biased, just started Drunkard’s Path 4″ blocks myself and am loving every minute at the sewing machine. The little blocks are so addicting, my first attempt at curved piecing, should have done this eons ago!!

    Inspiring gallery of colorful creativity!
