Carole has finished her “Dancing Dollies” top
and she also brought in this gorgeous hexie quilt to show us
during class she stitched some vines
Jo had her hexie centre stitched down
so we cut that into a circle and then played with what is going next
Sue W did more machine quilting
Marilyn has stitched all her hexies together and we laid them over the centre fabric ready to be appliquéd down
Sue E had all her pentagons finished and in class we put them into their groups and Sue started joining them
and during class Beth finished appliquéing her corners to her quilt top.
Lyn stayed all day and sewed the binding to her quilt in the morning and started stitching it down in the afternoon
Carilyn also stayed all day, making these stars in the morning
and continued stitching this squares/triangles border and chose some more fabrics in the afternoon
Tineke has her BOM up to date
and in class started cutting out shapes for the next section
Ann has two blocks completed
and we had a lesson on making a Lemoyne Star and also on EPP with these very cute, very small hexies!
After such busy classes, all I was capable of last night was some comfort knitting, and I turned the heel on the first sock.
We’re nearly at the end of our two weeks; still having fun?
