Challenge day 11

Another hexie block made from my templates

20160728-174440.jpgand more “socking”…….this one is knitting up differently

20160728-174554.jpgI think it has a more masculine look, and I did offer them to The Golfer, but he want “plain black or navy, please; none of this girly wool”!! Guess these will be for me too!

Only two more days to go, Dear Peeps. How are you travelling?

I love your new sock yarn too! You are a fast knitter. I’m going to do some sewing today. Hugs,

Love the block and the sock! I was doing more prep on my hexies to go with my stitcheries yesterday, made a start on a cushion kit that I bought in New Zealand in 2000, and stitched a few more hexies on to a wallhanging in the evening, so altogether a good day!!

  4. That sock is fairly flying along!

Day 11 – afraid to admit that I had a zip day. I did drive all the way across town though to meet Meredithe in the flesh. It was so nice to say a real hello and have a hug after many months of cyberspace communication. Meredithe brings so many people so much joy with her blog and inspiration. Keep up the good work. I promise to do twice as much crafty work on Day 12.

Would you mind sharing the name of the yarn that you are using? I’ve pulled out the double pointed needles because you inspired me to do it… 😉

Thank you for taking the time to comment - reading them makes my day!
