Sock obsession (4)

My 6th pair of socks is finished

20160620-204448.jpgI used the winwickmum pattern again and the wool is the yarn I received from Anne. Thank you dear Anne, and how how are yours coming along?

I’ve decided that will be my last pair for a while – there’s too much quilting to do (to which end, I machine quilted one today – show you soon), however I did find my hands at a loose end last night and not being quite ready to hand stitch for the evening I fished out the wool Ma Kettle and I bought for her last year from Bendigo Woollen Mills. Ma, your new jumper is started!

20160620-205236.jpgDon’t you just love the ceramic yarn holder? Ma bought it for me for Christmas (available from BWM).

PS when they’re all next washed I promise a sock drawer pic!

  1. It’s useful to have something to do instead of the main project, isn’t it…!

Six pairs is so impressive! I’m looking forward to seeing them all together. It is addictive, but I feel like I’m neglecting my quilting too. Thanks for the encouragement.

P.s. What size needles do you use?

Would love to do the socks but don’t know how to use four needles. Certainly will be trying cake recipe once back home.
