We had a lovely time on Saturday at Karen’s, and as an added bonus one of her sisters and her Mum called in for a visit.

There was plenty of afternoon tea

20160509-175243.jpgand she’s started hand quilting a small whole cloth quilt (we’re calling it the Pygmy Whole Cloth!)

20160509-175345.jpgLouise was stitching more blocks, and Karen has just the right size circle for her centres

20160509-175421.jpgand Louise has made this new bag too

20160509-175455.jpgI was catching up on circles

20160509-175520.jpgKaren was piecing

20160509-175550.jpgas was Andrea

20160509-175611.jpgSue has finished her wall hanging

20160509-175637.jpgKaye was appliquéing

20160509-175700.jpgMaree was putting more of her box Etui together

20160509-175733.jpgand Miss E arrived a little late and a lot stressed after a minor family crisis, so we sat her down with this most appropriate mug

20160509-175827.jpgand once she’s calmed down, she brought out her knitting.

20160509-175903.jpgProblems were solved, sanitys restored and good humour abounded!

Squealers is the perfect title! So many pretty projects! Guess if I stitched more and read less, I’d get more done!……but squeal less! But squealing is the most fun!

Aren’t fellow stitchery the best mates to have in a crisis??!! Amazing how all problems are solved or minimized by a cuppa and chat! Love the pics, too. Some inspirational stitching there.

It is so lovely to hear of you all rallying around to support your stressed friend. A group of women can be so wonderfully supporting, loving and nurturing of each other. A powerful thing to behold.
