Instastitch blocks

I may be a little late to the party but I’ve made the first block in Sue Spargo’s Instastitch Log Cabin

I really like this concept and thinking about it reminded me of High School Art Class and playing with mixed media. So as a nod to that, I’ve used woolly bits, cotton prints, solids and denim fabrics. The first part was choosing the right mix – something I love doing!

Lots of fun! Are you participating? There are lots of different version to see on Instagram, all cottons, all woolly bits, mixed media like mine, but all looking fabulous.
