Class show and tell

Schools are back, and so are we! We were missing a few regular students – they were lured away by the temptations of AQC – but we had some extra students join in the fun this week.

Morning

Carole nearly has her Dancing Dollies together and we chose the background and small border for the next stage

20160416-145721.jpgLeanne was placing, pinning and appliquéing stems

20160416-145802.jpgKaren tried out more new embroidery stitches for her circles

20160416-145844.jpgMarilyn’s pile of hexies is growing

20160416-145909.jpgDenise has been doing lots of blanket stitching

20160416-150039.jpgand Beth and I nutted out the piping for the next stage of her quilt.

Lovely, lovely, lovely! I want to do them ALL. I especially love the dancing dollies with the darling embroidered flowers in their hair. And fussy cut hexies are the ultimate! You ladies are all so clever.

Wonderful photos. Especially like Beth’s applique piece, great fabrics. But…..where was lunch, or morning tea, or afternoon tea?

  5. The first things that caught my eye were the charms on Karen’s scissors – I have them too! Love all the hexies. I haven’t seen that French thread – I must investigate!

  6. And a wonderful time was had by all….!
