Sue and I trimmed her centre block and she added the centre strip to parts already stitched together – 2/3rds done!

20160319-180057.jpgCarole stitched some circles

20160319-180122.jpgDenise had a revision of blanket stitch and started sewing down her woolly bits

20160319-180209.jpgBeth worked on her appliqué

20160319-180243.jpgJo stitched the last of her hexagons and worked on some circles too.

Lyn stayed all day and started the process of sashing her blocks together and getting the big centre block made up

20160319-180431.jpgDorothy decided to stay all day too and we devised a plan for a little quilt for her baby grand daughter. She’s heading back to New Zealand armed with new skills and lots of information!

20160319-180558.jpgHelen has been making hexies and we tried some out on her background fabrics

20160319-180638.jpgTineke decided to appliqué her star to her background

20160319-180711.jpgFrances stitched her border pieces together, working to get the fabric going both ways

20160319-180756.jpgand Frances brought in a couple of quilts to show us too.

20160319-180827.jpgThis one is all done by hand!
