Friday stitching

Friday sewing was at mine this time and when I opened the door to Helen…….

20160305-120850.jpgthis gorgeous brolly and these lovely cases are from her for my birthday

20160305-120936.jpgand the beautiful roses are from Marg which she gave me on Thursday at class.

Lunch was warm chicken salad (made by me) and olive bread (not made by me)

20160305-121133.jpgwith naughty and good for afternoon tea!

20160305-121205.jpgMaree has finished her hexie quilt, using templates from my “Playing with Hexagons” series

20160305-121258.jpgand she’s back to appliqué

20160305-121509.jpgKaren has finished the first of her appliqué blocks

20160305-121323.jpgwe did a layout of Sue’s quilt and decided another appliqué block would look good in the centre

20160305-121407.jpgHelen is working on the last of her appliqué blocks and we all gave an opinion on the choice of centre (top right hand!)

20160305-121632.jpgand I stitched another from my “Elwood Rose” template set

20160305-121716.jpgusing the beautiful “Paperie” fabrics from Nana Company. Love Amy’s range!
